Local young punk bands had played the show, and other than Pill’s older sister, the oldest person was seventeen. Young Riverbed sat under the glow of Pill’s face as she spoke with the lead singer and guitarist of some ska band. Riverbed remembers thinking, “I wonder if she notices me?”
