I love this idea of one aphorism per day. It's a neglected form these days. I was going to have a blog which had an aphorism (not my own) in the title line plus a photo from flickr. I haven't had the time. I do like your version, though.

Things that look like lawn furniture:

daffodils, Tonka trucks, some kinds of cooking utensils (usually the ones that stir things but sometimes salad tongs look like certain kinds of lawn couches), regular furniture, impressionist art, old 8mm home movies, a dophin’s cry.
